Dear Michel & Band Members,

Wow! Now wasn't that a party!! Many, many thanks for your involvement and participation with the 1st Annual "Rockin' for Risk" 50's & 60's fundraising dance, held April 6th, 2002. As you are aware, this event was staged to raise funds for Children at Risk. For over 23 years, Children at Risk has been part of the Ottawa community, providing supports and services for children diagnosed within the Autism Spectrum disorders.

From my first conversation with Intersection, I was impressed by your enthusiasm, energy, dedication and positive attitude! This event, formerly "Hope at the Hop", had been offered to Children at Risk with the hopes of reviving it in the community. Intersection embraced the opportunity to assist our charity from the start, even helping us come up with a name for the event! You were involved throughout the event planning, offering encouragement and ideas to help make "Rockin' for Risk a phenomenal success. With your help, Children at Risk was able to raise over $6,000 for Autistic children and their families.

In addition, I must mention how impressed we were with Intersection's professional stage presence and excellent sound! Despite an unexpected change in a band member, you kept your commitment to our event. You went out of your way to accommodate our requests for certain music and even offered to enhance your sound with guest artists. Your willingness to incorporate Elvis Tribute Artist Shawn Barry into the event definitely convinced us we had chosen the best band!!

Already we have started to plan the 2nd Annual "Rockin' for Risk" and would be delighted if Intersection could join us again! I would not hesitate to recommend your band for any event that is looking for Classic Rock & Roll done right!!

Yours truly, (signed by)
